Rooms are organised by age group, from babies through to pre-school, each set up for what that stage of development actually needs. Toddler and pre-school children can move out to their own outdoor area during the day, choosing between indoor and outdoor play rather than staying put until a set time.

Getting started
Tinky's has its own in-house chef preparing fresh meals daily, with menus designed by registered child nutritionist Sarah Almond Bushell, who has worked with Annabel Karmel and Tommee Tippee. All children can join our extra-curricular clubs at no extra cost, and nursery cams let you check in and see your child during the day. Our curriculum follows the EYFS and draws on Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches, with a child-centred philosophy of focus, challenge and inspire.
We're at 278 Watford Way in Hendon, London NW4 4UR, easy to reach for families across the local area. Regular outings to the nearby park are part of nursery life too. Do get in touch if you'd like directions or want to check the journey from your home.
We welcome children from 6 months to 5 years old, supporting them through the EYFS from their earliest days right through to school readiness. Our toddler and pre-school rooms have direct access to outdoor areas, so children can move between the two as part of their day.

Fees and funding
Yes. Every 3 and 4 year old is entitled to 15 universal hours a week regardless of parental work status, and working families of 3 and 4 year olds, as well as working families with a child from 9 months old, may be entitled to 30 hours, depending on individual circumstances. We're happy to talk you through what you're entitled to and how it works alongside our fees.
